I think the attitude of today's people is changing now...
And love and care is being given to their parents even in the old age..
Issue arises only if the kids are in foreign lands.. where the family has to resort to old age homes..

I really loved the 1.5 hours we spend there.. It was a nice walk around in the lush greenery and enjoying the architecture, though lot of the technical details went over our heads :)

How we planted Gherkins ......... and Beena decided to buy cows....

I was rolling on the floor laughing by the time i reached the end...

I shared this blog with all in family...  My dad has a small vegetable garden... It indeed is a joy growing them.. But we grow just enough for home use only.. 

I really loved ur statement " he said his uncle once made a killing out of growing Thakkali...    (Later I came to know that his uncle killed himself as he became a pauper because of Thahkkali)".. Very nice....
